UV: Abydos first, then wetware¶
Phase id: p14 · Era: UV · Abydos
PEEK and UV solder, the UV hull, Abydos (xenotime → dysprosium → UV motors → drilling rig and magma), zirconium, then the sterile bio lines, research data and the wetware circuits. Typical pace (community reports, not independent samples): players report about 3 days from the Stargate to UV (1 clean run) and about 3 days in UV (3 runs, 0.7 to 3).
PEEK, polyimide and UV solder¶
- Module key:
plan:uvchem· step 75 - Chain: Polyether ether ketone (PEEK): 8 Large Chemical Reactor steps from toluene, benzene, fluorine and propene - the UV hull plastic; also Polyimide: 12 reactions (maleic anhydride, BTDA, NMP, phenylenediamine, polyamic acid) - needs UV-tier Large Chemical Reactors for the last two steps, UV solder: indium tin lead cadmium soldering alloy in the Alloy Blast Smelter (2880 mB per 14 dust batch, circuit 14, 3000 K)
- Uses:
gtceu:benzene_bucket,gtceu:chlorine_bucket,gtceu:oxygen_bucket,gtceu:propene_bucket - Makes:
gtceu:polyether_ether_ketone_bucket,gtceu:indium_tin_lead_cadmium_soldering_alloy_bucket - Watch out:
- PEEK is the UV and UHV hull plastic: 8 Large Chemical Reactor steps.
- Polyimide: 12 reactions; the last two steps need UV-tier Large Chemical Reactors.
- UV solder: Alloy Blast Smelter, circuit 14, 14 indium + 3 tin + 2 lead + 1 cadmium = 2880 mB.
- Unverified indium and cadmium sources.
UV hull¶
- Module key:
plan:uvhull· step 76 - Chain: UV Machine Hull: darmstadtium casing + 2 yttrium barium cuprate cables (PPS foil + PVC foil + silicone) + 288 mB PEEK
- Uses:
gtceu:darmstadtium_ingot,gtceu:polyether_ether_ketone_bucket - Makes:
gtceu:uv_machine_hull - Stock:
gtceu:uv_machine_hullin 8 - Watch out:
- Casing: 8 darmstadtium plates, assembler circuit 8; hull = casing + 2 YBCO cables (PPS + PVC foil + silicone) + 288 mB PEEK.
- The Abydos drilling rig and both Abydos controllers need hulls (UV and ZPM).
Abydos first: xenotime → dysprosium → drilling rig and magma¶
- Module key:
plan:abydos· step 77 - Chain: Xenotime rare earth line: 5 machines → yttrium + small lutetium, dysprosium, europium, samarium dust; dysprosium and zapolgium rods are polarized in the pack’s own recipe; also Abydos dense magma → residues, lava and 12 raw ores (titanite, xenotime, monazite, scheelite; zapolite, crookesite, kitkaite, lautarite; naquadite, magnesite, chromite, magnetite), Abydos mantle: ZPM Fluid Drilling Rig (144 CWU/t research) → gritty akreyrium → Cyclonic Sifter and Molten Destabiliser (280 B and 72 B of it per controller)
- Uses:
gtceu:uv_machine_hull,gtceu:zpm_machine_hull,gtceu:crystal_processor_mainframe,gtceu:sulfuric_acid_bucket,gtceu:polybenzimidazole_bucket,gtceu:indium_tin_lead_cadmium_soldering_alloy_bucket - Makes:
gtceu:cyclonic_sifter,gtceu:molten_destabiliser,gtceu:magnetic_dysprosium_rod,gtceu:uv_electric_motor,gtceu:uv_electric_pump - Power: Cyclonic Sifter 98 304 EU/t; Molten Destabiliser 491 520 EU/t (UV hatch)
- Watch out:
- The ZPM Fluid Drilling Rig (4 UV motors + 4 UV pumps, 144 CWU/t research) only drills in Abydos: build the rig and its power line there.
- Dense magma gives 12 raw ores (titanite, xenotime, monazite, scheelite, zapolite, naquadite...): sift first, about 7 times more ore per magma.
- The xenotime rare earth line gives only 0.1 dust of each rare earth per run: build many.
- Not a loop: dysprosium comes from Abydos ORE (xenotime in the refractory metals vein, mined by hand), not from magma: xenotime → rare earth line (5 steps, EBF 7 500 K = trinium coils) → dysprosium → long magnetic dysprosium rod → the first UV motors and pumps → ZPM Fluid Drilling Rig → gritty akreyrium (72 000 mB) → Molten Destabiliser → magma.
- Fluid Drilling Rig: UV hull + 4 UV circuits (crystal mainframe or wetware computer) + 4 UV motors + 4 UV pumps + 4 naquadah alloy gears + 1 872 mB solder, research 144 CWU/t. Molten Destabiliser: ZPM hull + 6 UV circuits + 24 ZPM pumps + 4 pure netherite rotors + 64 UHPIC chips, PBI 8 000 + gritty akreyrium 72 000 mB. Both run at UV voltage.
- The akreyrium steps need a UHV hatch (up to 2 097 152 EU/t) and one UIV step: only the drilling for gritty akreyrium belongs here, the rest waits for UHV.
- Zapolgium can start here: EBF 10 299 K (tritanium coil, assembled at UV voltage) with zapolite from Abydos and tritanium from MK II; it does not wait for the UV fusion reactor (module uhvmetals).
Zirconium (needed by the UV reflectors)¶
- Module key:
plan:uvzirconium· step 78 - Chain: Zirconium from titanite: perchloric acid leach, slurry, hydroxide, chloride, hydrogen reduction - 8 titanite dust per 1 zirconium dust
- Makes:
gtceu:zirconium_dust - Watch out:
- 8 titanite dust per 1 zirconium dust (perchloric acid leach, slurry, hydroxide, chloride, hydrogen reduction).
- The UV fusion reactor needs double zirconium plates in its complex reflector panels.
- Zirconium only from Abydos titanite (vein or refractory magma residue). Zircalloy-4 is an EBF 9 100 K recipe: trinium coils (9 001 K) are not enough, build tritanium coils (10 800 K).
Sterile bio lines¶
- Module key:
plan:uvbio· step 79 - Chain: Sterile bio line 1: bio chaff → bacteria → bacterial sludge → enriched sludge → mutagen (every step inside a Sterile Cleanroom); also Sterile bio line 2: collagen → gelatin → agar, then raw medium, sterilized growth medium and stem cells (Sterile Cleanroom)
- Uses:
gtceu:sulfuric_acid_bucket,gtceu:uv_electric_motor,gtceu:uv_electric_pump - Makes:
gtceu:mutagen_bucket,gtceu:stem_cells - Watch out:
- Every step runs inside a Sterile Cleanroom (the Sterilizing Filter Casing replaces the normal filter casings).
- Wetware circuits need stem cells and sterilized growth medium.
- The raw growth medium recipe is replaced by the pack: mixer, 4 meat + 4 salt + 4 calcium + 4 agar + 4 B mutagen.
- The bacteria machines (Bacterial Runic Mutator, Breeding Vat, Hydrocarbon Harvester) each need 4 UV motors or pumps, so Abydos dysprosium comes first. The wetware circuits and the biostimulating mixture do not need Abydos.
Research data and CWU power¶
- Module key:
plan:uvdata· step 80 - Chain: Data Module (sterile circuit assembler) and the data item per CWU/t: orb below 32, module from 32, data DNA disk from 160, component data core from 320; also More CWU for UV research: advanced HPCA computation component (16 CWU/t), active cooler, bridge component and the Network Switch that joins several HPCAs
- Uses:
gtceu:pcb_coolant_bucket,gtceu:research_station,gtceu:high_performance_computation_array - Makes:
gtceu:advanced_data_access_hatch,gtceu:network_switch - Power: Data Module 38 400 EU/t
- Watch out:
- Data item per CWU/t: orb below 32, module from 32, data DNA disk from 160, data core from 320.
- Every UV research asks 32 to 144 CWU/t: the advanced HPCA computation component gives 16 CWU/t.
- The Network Switch joins several HPCAs.
Wetware circuits (UV and UHV circuit)¶
- Module key:
plan:wetware· step 81 - Chain: Wetware circuits 1: wetware board → printed board → neuro processing unit → wetware processor (the LuV circuit of the wetware line); also Living SMDs (inductor, transistor, capacitor, resistor, diode): ZPM Assembler recipes, 16 or 32 per run - the UV computer and the UHV mainframe cannot be built without them, Wetware circuits 2: QRAM chips → wetware processor assembly → Wetware Processor Computer (UV circuit, Assembly Line + 64 CWU/t research), UHV circuit: Wetware Processor Mainframe (2 computers + living SMDs, 70 s at 300 000 EU/t, station research 96 CWU/t) - the UV fusion reactor and the UHV hatches ask for it
- Uses:
gtceu:stem_cells,gtceu:crystal_cpu,gtceu:nano_cpu_chip,gtceu:iron_iii_chloride_bucket,gtceu:radon_bucket,gtceu:research_station - Makes:
gtceu:wetware_processor,gtceu:wetware_processor_computer,gtceu:wetware_processor_mainframe - Power: mainframe 300 000 EU/t, 70 s
- Watch out:
- Living SMDs come first: ZPM assembler recipes, 16 or 32 per run; neither the computer nor the mainframe can be built without them.
- Wetware computer = UV circuit; wetware mainframe = UHV circuit (station research 96 CWU/t).
- The UV fusion reactor and the UHV hatches ask for the UHV circuit.
