Into MV¶
Phase id: p5 · Era: MV
MV hulls and MV components built on LV power. Typical pace (community reports, not independent samples): players report about 5 days in MV (median of 7 runs, range 1 to 17).
Cupronickel coils¶
- Module key:
plan:coils· step 28 - Chain: Cupronickel coils ×16
- Uses:
gtceu:cupronickel_ingot,gtceu:bronze_ingot - Makes:
gtceu:cupronickel_coil_block - Watch out:
- 16 coils = 128 double wires + 128 foils + 2304 mB tin alloy.
- The Electric Blast Furnace (aluminium, steel with oxygen, wafers) needs them.
Aluminium ingots¶
- Module key:
plan:aluminium· step 29 - Chain: Infinite aluminium (clay)
- Makes:
gtceu:aluminium_dust,gtceu:aluminium_ingot,gtceu:silicon_dust - Stock:
gtceu:aluminium_ingotin 64 - Watch out:
- Pack recipe: 11 sodalite dust → 3 aluminium dust + 3 silicon dust in an electrolyzer (30 EU/t, 26 s). Sodalite comes from the Void Extractor.
- Aluminium has blast temperature 1700 K: dust → ingot only in the EBF (120 EU/t); cupronickel coils are enough.
- The clay route in the chain needs the MV Electrolyzer, so on LV power use the sodalite route first.
MV hulls + transformer¶
- Module key:
plan:mvhull· step 30 - Chain: MV hull line (Create mechanical crafters)
- Uses:
gtceu:aluminium_ingot,gtceu:wrought_iron_plate,gtceu:copper_single_cable - Makes:
gtceu:mv_machine_hull,gtceu:lv_transformer_1a - Stock:
gtceu:mv_machine_hullin 8 - Watch out:
- Aluminium comes first: the casing is 8 aluminium plates (EBF 1700 K, 120 EU/t, cupronickel coils) and the assembler hull adds 288 mB polyethylene.
- MV casing in the LV assembler (circuit 8).
- Run MV machines through an LV transformer on step-up.
MV components (on LV machines)¶
- Module key:
plan:mvcomp· step 31 - Chain: MV components on LV machines
- Uses:
gtceu:aluminium_ingot,gtceu:cupronickel_ingot,gtceu:steel_rod,gtceu:copper_single_cable - Makes:
gtceu:mv_electric_motor,gtceu:mv_electric_piston,gtceu:mv_conveyor_module,gtceu:mv_electric_pump - Stock:
gtceu:mv_electric_motorin 32 - Watch out:
- All MV component recipes are 30 EU/t: LV assemblers make them.
- MV robot arms wait for MV circuits.
