ZPM: fusion and Stargate¶
Phase id: p13 · Era: ZPM & Classic Stargate
Fusion MK I, then MK II with argon plasma power and tritanium, the era multiblocks and the Classic Stargate. Typical pace (community reports, not independent samples): players report about 13 days from ZPM to the Classic Stargate (3 runs, 12 to 13).
Fusion MK II (darmstadtium)¶
- Module key:
plan:fusion2· step 73 - Chain: Fusion MK II (ZPM): URD superconducting coil → fusion coil, advanced reflector casing, then the reactor (needs 4 UV circuits) and darmstadtium; also ZPM power: argon plasma in Fusion MK II (carbon + magnesium) into Large Plasma Turbines
- Uses:
gtceu:uranium_rhodium_dinaquadide_ingot,gtceu:trinium_ingot,gtceu:naquadria_ingot,gtceu:zpm_machine_hull,gtceu:zpm_electric_motor,gtceu:research_station - Makes:
start_core:zpm_fusion_reactor,gtceu:darmstadtium_bucket,gtceu:darmstadtium_ingot,gtceu:argon_plasma_bucket,gtceu:tritanium_ingot - Power: buffer up to 320 MEU; argon plasma 24 576 EU/t
- Watch out:
- MK II needs station research, a URD superconducting coil and the advanced reflector casing; the reactor takes 4 UV circuits.
- Darmstadtium is the UV hull metal.
- Buffers (start_core lang): MK I 160 MEU, MK II 320 MEU, MK III 640 MEU.
- Argon plasma (zpm_argon): reflector T2, 144 mB carbon + 144 mB magnesium → 1000 mB, 24 576 EU/t, 7.2 s, 180 MEU start: the ZPM power players actually use.
- Tritanium does not need MK III: reflector T3 (complex reflector casing), 30 720 EU/t, 21.6 s, 200 MEU start, fits MK II. Neutronium (600 MEU start) does need MK III.
- A reflector above the recipe tier raises the overclock cap by the tier difference; each overclock doubles EU/t and halves time; recipes with a higher minimum reflector tier do not run.
Era multiblocks and the Classic Stargate¶
- Module key:
plan:zpmmultis· step 74 - Chain: Era multiblocks 1: Component Part Assembly, Heat Chamber, Large Rotor Machine (Assembly Line, ZPM power, 4 UV circuits each, station research 16 CWU/t); also Era multiblocks 2: Runic Engraver (RCAS), Stargate Component Assembly, Dimensional Finder with coordinate crystals, Stargate rods: rod base → raw rod (Large Rotor Machine, foil reams, lubricant) → activated rod (Heat Chamber, nether star concentrate), Classic Stargate: runes (RCAS) + gate parts (Component Part Assembly) + activated rods → ring, chevron, base blocks (Stargate Component Assembly) → Create mechanical crafting
- Uses:
gtceu:zpm_robot_arm,gtceu:zpm_electric_motor,gtceu:zpm_machine_hull,gtceu:crystal_processor_mainframe,gtceu:research_station,gtceu:dragonsteel_ingot - Makes:
gtceu:component_part_assembly,gtceu:heat_chamber,gtceu:large_rotor_machine,gtceu:runic_circuitry_assembling_station,gtceu:stargate_component_assembly,sgjourney:classic_stargate,sgjourney:classic_stargate_base_block - Watch out:
- Each controller is an Assembly Line recipe with 4 UV circuits and station research (16 CWU/t).
- Rods and gate parts are UV-power recipes: a LuV 16A hatch gives UV speed (quest).
- The whole gate needs 24 ring blocks and 484 activated rods.
- Unverified foil ream recipe.
- The Classic Stargate is the ZPM → UV step: its bars, ring, chevrons and base (Stargate Component Assembly) are UV-voltage recipes. Without a UV hatch, 4 A of ZPM (two 2 A ZPM hatches) counts as 1 A at UV (GT amperage rule, verified for MV/HV).
