Cobblestone, hand sieving, clay and bricks: the first ores and the furnace bricks before any machine. Typical pace (community reports, not independent samples): players report about 2.5 days from the start to MV in total (median of 4 runs).

Cobblestone and blackstone

• Watch out:
  • Stone barrel with circuit 10: lava in plus water inside = obsidian.
  • Witch water instead of water gives blackstone.
  • The Large Stone Barrel does all of this much faster later.

Hand sieve

• Uses: minecraft:cobblestone
• Makes: minecraft:gravel, gtceu:crushed_copper_ore, gtceu:crushed_iron_ore, gtceu:crushed_tin_ore, gtceu:crushed_sphalerite_ore, gtceu:crushed_magnetite_ore
• Watch out:
  • Hammer cobble to gravel, gravel to sand, sand to dust; sieve each for different drops (tables in Resources).
  • Mud gives slitake and mycelium spores; dirt gives every sapling.

Barrel transformations

• Watch out:
  • Dust plus water = clay; mycelium spores plus water = witch water; witch water plus sand = soul sand.

  • Create press: fireclay dust to compressed fireclay 1:1.
