Phase id: p12 · Era: ZPM & Classic Stargate
Naquadah metals and coils, quantum and crystal circuits, the Research Station and the ZPM machine parts. Typical pace (community reports, not independent samples): players report about 13 days from ZPM to the Classic Stargate (3 runs, 12 to 13).
Naquadah metals and ZPM coils¶
- Module key:
plan:zpmmetals· step 67 - Chain: Naquadah products: 6 naquadah dust → 1 trinium + 1.5 enriched naquadah + 1.5 naquadria (centrifuges, acid loops, EBF 7000 / 7200 / 9000 K); also ZPM alloys: naquadah alloy (hull casing) and osthendah (all ZPM parts): mixers → EBF with naquadah coils (7200 K) → Vacuum Freezer with liquid helium, EBF coils: naquadah coil block (30 720 EU/t) → trinium → trinium coil block (122 880 EU/t), niobium nitride foil in both, Uranium rhodium dinaquadide (URD, 9000 K) and dragonsteel (ZPM superconductor, 7100 K)
- Uses:
gtceu:naquadah_dust,gtceu:osmium_dust,gtceu:ruthenium_dust,gtceu:rhodium_dust,gtceu:nitrogen_bucket - Makes:
gtceu:trinium_ingot,gtceu:enriched_naquadah_ingot,gtceu:naquadria_ingot,gtceu:naquadah_alloy_ingot,gtceu:osthendah_ingot,gtceu:trinium_coil_block,gtceu:uranium_rhodium_dinaquadide_ingot,gtceu:dragonsteel_ingot - Power: coil blocks 30 720 and 122 880 EU/t
- Watch out:
- 6 naquadah dust = 1 trinium + 1.5 enriched naquadah + 1.5 naquadria (EBF 7000 / 7200 / 9000 K).
- Trinium dust is the trinium ingot macerated, so naquadah alloy waits for the first trinium.
- Naquadah coil 7200 K, trinium coil 9001 K, niobium nitride foil in both. Unverified: the 9001 K figure.
- ZPM alloys freeze with liquid helium (5000 K and up).
ZPM circuit (Quantum Mainframe)¶
- Module key:
plan:zpmcirc· step 68 - Chain: ZPM circuit: Quantum Processor Mainframe (processor → assembly → supercomputer in IV Circuit Assemblers, mainframe in the Assembly Line); also Quantum chips: nano CPU wafer + radon → qubit CPU wafer → 4 chips, and the extreme circuit board (reinforced epoxy → fiber board → extreme board), Advanced SMDs (IV Assembler, 3840 EU/t): inductor, capacitor, diode, transistor, all with polybenzimidazole
- Uses:
gtceu:polybenzimidazole_bucket,gtceu:nano_cpu_chip,gtceu:nor_memory_chip,gtceu:radon_bucket,gtceu:epoxy_bucket,gtceu:sulfuric_acid_bucket - Makes:
gtceu:quantum_processor_mainframe,gtceu:qbit_cpu_chip,gtceu:fiber_reinforced_printed_circuit_board - Stock:
gtceu:quantum_processor_mainframein 16 - Power: IV assembler 3840 EU/t for the advanced SMDs
- Watch out:
- The quest calls the Quantum Processor Mainframe the first ZPM circuit; the pack removed the circuit assembler recipe for the mainframe, it is an Assembly Line recipe.
- Advanced SMDs: IV assembler, 3840 EU/t, all with PBI.
- Qubit CPU wafer: nano CPU wafer + indium gallium phosphide + 50 mB radon, cleanroom.
Fusion MK I (europium) and plasma power¶
- Module key:
plan:fusion1· step 69 - Chain: Fusion MK I: superconducting coil + ZPM circuits + UHPIC chips in the Assembly Line, then europium in the reactor (reflector tier 1); also ZPM power: deuterium + tritium → helium plasma (MK I fusion) → Large Plasma Turbine with a ZPM rotor holder → ZPM dynamo hatch
- Uses:
gtceu:quantum_processor_mainframe,gtceu:hydrogen_bucket,gtceu:trinium_ingot,gtceu:enriched_naquadah_ingot - Makes:
start_core:luv_fusion_reactor,gtceu:europium_bucket,gtceu:zpm_energy_output_hatch - Power: europium 24 576 EU/t, 28.8 s; start energy 150 MEU
- Watch out:
- "LuV" in the reactor name is Fusion MK I, ZPM-gated by its 4 ZPM circuits.
- Europium: 144 mB neodymium + 3000 mB hydrogen, reflector tier 1. Crystal CPUs, voltage coils and ZPM wire all need it.
- Power: deuterium + tritium make helium plasma for a Large Plasma Turbine.
- Turbine (gtceu jar): Large Plasma Turbine base 16 384 EU/t x 2^(holder tier - IV) x rotor power / 100. Helium plasma: reflector T1, 4 096 EU/t, 40 MEU start, 11 059 EU per mB in the turbine. Unverified: the reactor layout.
- MK I holds at most 160 MEU: argon plasma (180 MEU start, about 4x the power of helium) waits for MK II (next phase, chain zpm_argon).
Research Station, HPCA and data¶
- Module key:
plan:research· step 70 - Chain: Research: Data Bank (IV power), High Performance Computation Array and Research Station (both 100 000 EU/t, ZPM circuits); also Research Station parts: advanced computer casing, Object Holder, computation hatch, HPCA components (all need ZPM circuits), Research data: data stick (IV Scanner: ZPM motor, pump, piston, conveyor, arm) and data orb (Research Station: emitter, sensor, field generator, hatches)
- Uses:
gtceu:quantum_processor_mainframe,gtceu:nano_processor_mainframe,gtceu:luv_field_generator,gtceu:luv_sensor,gtceu:polybenzimidazole_bucket,gtceu:pcb_coolant_bucket - Makes:
gtceu:research_station,gtceu:high_performance_computation_array,gtceu:data_bank - Power: Station and HPCA recipes 100 000 EU/t
- Watch out:
- Only the Data Bank is LuV: the HPCA and Research Station (and computation hatches) are ZPM-gated by 4 to 8 ZPM circuits.
- 100 000 EU/t is ZPM tier: a LuV 4A hatch gives the speed (quest).
- The scanner writes data sticks; the Research Station writes data orbs and modules.
Crystal circuits and the UV circuit¶
- Module key:
plan:zpmcrystal· step 71 - Chain: Crystal CPU: exquisite emerald + europium → raw crystal chip (10 %) → 9 parts → loop at 100 % → EBF with helium → laser engraver; also ZPM circuit 2: Crystal Processor Supercomputer (elite board, crystal processor → assembly in the LCAF, computer in the Assembly Line), UV circuit: Crystal Processor Mainframe (2 crystal computers + advanced SMDs in the Assembly Line, station research 16 CWU/t) - 4 of them gate every ZPM multiblock
- Uses:
gtceu:europium_bucket,gtceu:nano_cpu_chip,gtceu:nor_memory_chip,gtceu:sulfuric_acid_bucket - Makes:
gtceu:crystal_cpu,gtceu:crystal_processor_computer,gtceu:crystal_processor_mainframe - Power: autoclave 320 EU/t, 10 min per raw chip
- Watch out:
- Raw crystal chip: exquisite emerald + 16 mB molten europium in an autoclave, 10 % chance, 10 minutes. Start it early.
- Unverified the autoclave tier boost on the 10 % chance.
- The Crystal Processor Mainframe is a UV circuit: 4 of them gate every ZPM-era multiblock (station research 16 CWU/t).
ZPM hull, hatch and components¶
- Module key:
plan:zpmmach· step 72 - Chain: ZPM Machine Hull: naquadah alloy casing + 2 vanadium gallium cables (PPS foil + PVC foil + silicone rubber) + 288 mB PBI; also ZPM Energy Input Hatch: europium voltage coils → Assembly Line (station research 8 CWU/t), then the ZPM transformer and 4A hatch, ZPM components 1: motor, piston, pump, conveyor module (Assembly Line, 30 s, 30 720 EU/t, osthendah + osmiridium + europium wire), ZPM components 2: robot arm (scanned), emitter, sensor, field generator (station research, 2 quantum stars each, trinium foil, URD wire)
- Uses:
gtceu:naquadah_alloy_ingot,gtceu:polybenzimidazole_bucket,gtceu:europium_bucket,gtceu:osthendah_ingot,gtceu:trinium_ingot,gtceu:quantum_processor_mainframe - Makes:
gtceu:zpm_machine_hull,gtceu:zpm_energy_input_hatch,gtceu:zpm_electric_motor,gtceu:zpm_robot_arm - Stock:
gtceu:zpm_machine_hullin 8 - Power: Assembly Line 30 720 EU/t per component (30 s); emitters and sensors 600 ticks
- Watch out:
- Hull plastic is PBI: casing = 8 naquadah alloy plates, cables need PPS foil + PVC foil + silicone.
- Emitters, sensors and field generators use station research and 2 quantum stars each.
- Emitter and sensor cost 24 trinium ingots each in foil.
